2026 Sales Tax Ballot Question

RESOLUTION NO. 2026-02 was adopted by the Eagle Board of Trustees at its regular meeting on February 3, 2026. This resolution will submit to the registered voters residing in the corporate limits of Eagle the question of increasing the local sales and use tax from one percent (1%) to one and one-half percent (1.5%) at the Statewide Primary Election set for May 12, 2026. 

The additional one-half percent (0.5%) will specifically be used for the necessary expenses to renovate the existing fire station into a Community Center and for one-third of the construction costs of the new Fire & Rescue Station.
