Be Careful what you Flush
12/2/2022
The Village of Eagle has noticed an uptick in the amount of wipes, paper towels, feminine hygiene products and other plastics entering the sanitary sewer system. Please be advised that "flushable" wipes and other products should never be flushed down the toilet. They may appear to flush down the toilet fine; however, they do not disintegrate in the same fashion as toilet paper as they move through your plumbing system. These products, and others, have the potential to wreak havoc on your personal plumbing system as well as the Village of Eagle's sanitary sewer mains, sewer lift stations and wastewater treatment facility. This results in increased repairs and maintenance costs that ultimately are passed along to the consumer. Please talk to your family today about being mindful of what gets flushed down the toilet.

Update - Parkview Avenue / Wenzel Circle Mill & Overlay Project
6/23/2022
Please be advised that the asphalt construction project originally scheduled for Parkview Avenue has been removed from consideration at this time due to unforeseen circumstances. The asphalt on Wenzel Circle was in worse condition than anticipated and the most deteriorated areas required full-depth patches with improved subgrade and base, which resulted in a significant increase in repair costs. To meet project budget constraints, work on Parkview Avenue was removed from the scope of service. We thank you for your cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience this decision may have caused.
