Financial Information Update

On an annual basis, the Eagle Board of Trustees conducts a public hearing, considers budgetary requests, and adopts an annual budget. Additionally, the Board of Trustees hires a third-party auditor to perform a full financial audit. Here is an update on the current status of Eagle's financial records:
Reorganization Question to Appear on the 2022 Primary Ballot

On May 10, 2022, the registered voters of Eagle will be asked to vote on whether Eagle should reorganize from a village form of government to a city form of government. In order to educate voters on the differences between the two types of government strucutres, the Board of Trustees has provided some basic questions and answers on our website.

Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP)

The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has now begun determining eligibility for the Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP).
Available NOW - COVID-19 At Home Tests

The Village of Eagle office received a supply of COVID-19 At Home Tests from the Sarpy/Cass Health Department this morning. These test kits are being made available to all community members in and around Eagle at no cost. All test kits will come with an instruction card as well as the option to connect with a Certified eMed Guide to help you take the test and verify your results. No information will be collected from residents by the Village of Eagle. At this time, the maximum number of test kits that an individual can take in a single visit is six.
Now Hiring for the 2022 Pool Season

The Village of Eagle is now accepting applications for the 2022 Pool Season. Lifeguards and Pool Office Assistants Needed. Applications can be picked up at the Village of Eagle office located at 747 S. 2nd Street or online at www.eaglene.gov. Applicants are responsible for scheduling and obtaining proper certification, and must present certification prior to employment. For questions, please call 402-781-2748.

2022 ATV, UTV, and Golf Cart Registration/Operation

Recycling Services Coming to Eagle

In conjuntion with Keep Cass County Beautiful and Quik Dump, the Eagle Recycling Center will be available outside of the Village Office (747 S 2nd Street) beginning December 01, 2021.
Eagle Fall Cleanup Day - Volunteers Needed

Take pride in your community and help clean up the park, streets and trails. Eagle Fall Cleanup Day will be held Saturday, November 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. beginning at the Eagle Municipal Park located at 600 D Street. Meet at the park shelter for supplies provided by Keep Cass County Beautiful. Hope to see you there!
Now Hiring Full-time Maintenance Position

The Village of Eagle is currently accepting applications for a full time Maintenance Personnel position. This position requires a variety of duties including the operation and maintenance of light, medium and heavy equipment such as street sweepers, snowplow trucks, backhoes, skid steers and mowing equipment; routine building and property ground maintenance; general repair and maintenance of equipment; and experience in basic plumbing and construction or maintenance techniques. Municipal or maintenance background preferred. Candidate must have a valid Nebraska driver's license. Physical and background check required upon offer of employment. Salary range is $12.00-$18.00 per hour. Benefits package includes health, dental, vision, disability/life insurance, retirement, paid vacation, holidays and sick leave. Swimming Pool Closed for the 2021 Season

The Eagle Municipal Swimming Pool is closed for the remainder of the 2021 season due to a main pump failure that occurred on Sunday, August 1, 2021. We are unable to have the pump repaired or replaced prior to our typical annual closing date. Thank you for your understanding.
